What began as detection has now morphed into a thriller. And the suspense works quite as it’s supposed to…

I suppose that reason people don’t like this type of book is that Manny’s prose tends toward the baroque. But I love it!

Love this book…

This is really a knockout collection.

Correction: I have read three of the six.

I am skipping for the time being the six “games”, in which Curran analyzes, six famous GAD puzzle mysteries — though I have read all but one of them, the last — they are written in a rather strange and jumbled manner. So I will return to them at the end.

For the rest, this book, though also written in a somewhat strange fashion — the thread is not always clear — is yet fascinating and informative.
