Ok, the story started off well, but it’s starting to break down a bit. The banter and verbal sparring is kind of interrupted with the lust thoughts going on. It makes it feel disjointed, like the lust is overused and it disrupts the flow of the plot.

I’m struggling. It’s a little boring. The plot is the same as the first book, but somehow less exciting.

Holy shit. I mean, it’s so good and so heavy at the same time. I have to take breaks because it’s almost too much at once.

I didn’t like the Luka & Tessa scene. Felt too close to cheating so it took away from the spice.

Feel like I have been dreading Tessa’s chapters until she visits the villas.

Also, nobody is showing any urgency about Axel. They’re just like, oh yeah, well look for him next week. After we read some books

I am struggling with this book. FMC is just throwing the biggest tantrum because she “was lied to”. Get over it. They are making it pretty clear that some knowledge will change things.

I would be more upset about being used. That I could understand. But stop being a victim. This is why I don’t like series that go on too long.

I think it’s that Teddy unnecessarily bites out his consonants at times and Carly perpetually sounds like she’s elderly no matter what voice she is reading.

Teddy Hamilton’s voice is so whiny, nasally and Carly Robins voice sounds like an old lady all the time.
