Great book! Read it in like two days, it is about the women during the Vietnam War and how they were absolutely forgotten. Frankie was a nurse and it tells her story of her struggles returning especially bc her father was ashamed that she went and she struggled to find help because “there were no women there”

Read this at the beach for a sibling trip! It was good, I thought there were ghosts but it was just the dead boys brother. Turns out that the old babysitter accidentally hit him with her car. So he was no kidnapped and murdered.

A boy goes missing from a tent (someone slashes a hole in it). The majority of the story is 30 years later and they finally find the remains of the boy. The story goes back and forth between now and 30 years ago before he went missing.

Read this really fast! I enjoyed the different perspectives and the different times. The boy disappears and you find out that the mom (who adored) him accidentally killed him by drowning on a boat when it was raining. Their older daughter went missing at the camp & turns out she ran away to a cabin bc she did not like her family

Really liked it!! Didn’t realize there are 13 volumes.. only read two lol. Maybe one day I’ll get to them

Death god drops his “death note” in the human world. If you write someone’s name, they die. A boy has been killing bad people.. but they are onto him

Sleep away camp.. someone goes missing! It goes back and forth between two months before when camp started and right when they are looking for her

But if a twist.. I thought her husband was cheating on her but it wasn’t him. His secret was that he was an alcoholic. She killed two people and framed her college rapist on those murders.. wouldn’t describe it as a thriller

Listening to the audiobook.. Elle fanning.. love. She’s a young girl who gets pregnant and needs money. That’s all i got so far

Can’t put it down.. such a quick read. Debbie is a housewife who really likes to get back at people for harming her.. she grows poppies and drugs her husband, grows other flowers to make her friends vomit.

It was alright, kind of underwhelming ending… Melanie was just an aspiring writer and Mortimer wanted her to write the stories of the people who wronged him. She got his publisher and the house

Monster House - house is alive. I think there should be more description of the house… it’s mostly focusing on the people. I’m curious to know what Melanie did. From what I know now, all people were invited because they did something bad to Mortimer Queen the author. If they get answers wrong, the die one by one

Three different people: Maria in 1540, Alice in 2019, and Lottie in ???… turns out there are vampires but I had no idea lol. Not sure how they are going to connect but I’m thinking Lottie is Maria/Sabine but that seems too obvious

Casey is living in a remote cabin.. we get flashbacks of Ella who has a hard life, her mom is a hoarder and locks her in a closet when she goes out. She meets Anton, green hair, I like him. We get to present and Ella is at Casey’s house covered in blood ??

The ending was kind of mid… all of a sudden Mortimer threatens to destroy Ruby’s life and her parents life and then James finds the actual will of his mother and then the book ends all wrapped in a bow. I think the show is better TBH

Pretty good, all about James trying to win her trust back. Doesn’t really talk about the dad sabotaging them like in the second season of the show but I think that is going to be the next book. In the last chapter there were photos of ruby and the teacher which got her expelled bc it looked like they were a fling and you find out that James took them.. def his dad

I think the reason why she’s mad at her mom is kind of weird. Or at least the way it is described is not great. Her dad died and her mom married some dude and the due hit on her friend, which is the reason why she went to boarding school. But I think just a general being mad at your mom for remarrying would have been fine…??
