Yk in the end, she did a really good job of pulling it all together and summarizing what does it mean “woman and fiction”, why the situation was how it was, and how, with the advancement of society, we now are given a chance to “write” (here i use this in a metaphorical sense of just being able to do the things we wish, with less prejudice)

I feel on the verge of breaking down but i cant since im in a train, in germany, alone, one that i had to run to catch because my one got cancelled 30 min before departure, heading to a city where i right now don’t wish to be. I gen don’t fuck with the dialect, sure most time have no problems understanding what that word is by the sound of whats written, bet ughhh i do just lose all comprehension skills when reading too long of a text with that wording. Like i just skimp by it feeling that instead of reading an accent im just unconsciously skipping words 😭😭

Doctor Kimble (country apothecaries enjoyed that title without authority of diploma), was flitting about the room (..), and being welcomed everywhere as a doctor by hereditary right-not one of those miserable apothecaries who canvass for practice in strange neighbourhoods, and spend all their income in starving their one horse, but a man of substance, able to keep an extravagant table like the best of his patients.
