So much for this book being different from the shorter version. I’m nearly 25% in and aside from minor changes, it’s the exact same story almost verbatim. Hopefully that will change soon and the dark parts can shine through.

Omg! I can’t even with Blake and Brad. Between Brad telling Burke that he isn’t allowed to try and fix his relationship with Blake, he’s basically shoving Burke into the you don’t exist role. Blake is doing the opposite of what he did with Aaron. Treating Burke like crap because he’s seen the real him. WTF???

Omg! I can’t even with this book! At what point will the Aaron bashing stop? I can’t stand how he is being treated in the first pages of this book. What the actual fuck??? He has been traumatized and had his world implode, but yes, he entitled, arrogant, and in need of an attitude adjustment. Also, fuck Blake and his so called safe place. Blake is part of the problem right now.

Wtf? Blake, who offered Aaron a safe place to live is calling him out as spoiled, entitled, and in need of an attitude adjustment because he didn’t know he needed to *ask* for help???
