This was unfortunately not what I was looking for. Not really about deep ocean creatures, it's about exploration. Good historical section. Book isn't necessarily bad, but not about my area of interest. Understandable for the topic but unfortunately there were lots of icky dead creature photos. Including one especially haunting one near the beginning of a whole heap of dead fish trawled from the depths :( Gruesome.
