DNF at 33%, I just don't want to spend any more time with these characters or in this world.

This has a lot of useful concepts, but it badly needs better editing. I'm finding it so confusing trying to follow the author's train of thought. Chapter titles and headings don't align with the content within, the key point of a paragraph is put in the last sentence (isn't that the opposite of what journalists learn to do?), terms are introduced but not defined (or defined twice within a few pages). It's hard going.

Too sad and slow for me, which is a shame because I really like the author's first novel.

Will this book at some point tell me something I don't know? Unclear ...

Abandoning at the 1/3 point. I kept waiting for it to get good? But I just can't make myself care enough to keep reading it.

I've reached the first moment in the book that I've enjoyed rather than cringing at or being bored by ... There might still be hope for this book!

Just reached the halfway point of this audio behemoth... Who would've thought I'd get sucked into this story all over again?

How can I be four hours in and only at 12%? Just 32 hours to go ...
