My audiobook minutes are out!! Unsure if I’ll be able to finish by the end of the year ughhhh!!! The Faramir plot point is WAY better in the book and he’s my favorite character in the series so far I think, I really liked this!! I don’t however like that we never see or hear much of the enemy’s thought process or pov, they’re a blind unrelenting force which is a bit bland. Anyways good time see u soon…

Gandalf and company’s section has finished! I really like all the deep lore but stuff like helms deep is way less cool in the book. Tolkien is good at writing large sweeping stuff and imo has a hard time writing about small happenings in an interesting way. Time for Frodo and Sam…

Into a more applied science part. Good book but I have qualms. Will relay soon…

Much happier than the movie! I love how much time they spend telling stories and telling others about stuff that has happened in the book already. STILL no Sam and Frodo yet…

Really interesting thoughts here on living a passive life vs an active life, letting the river carry you or choosing to paddle upstream. I’d say at the moment I leave a passive life of appreciation, and this is through a conscious attempt I’ve made.

Life becomes unreal when one has no vision of their future, sees their life already finished in front of them, something I’ve been guilty of certainly.
