I keep getting pulled out of the story cause they’re underwater and constantly turning toward the source of a sound. It’s virtually impossible to decipher the direction a sound due to the way sound travels under water. I am, naturally, totally on board with them breathing and even being neutrally buoyant but the sound thing is bothering me

Why would her editor leave “shuck responsibility” in this book… the phrase is “shirk responsibility” 🤦🏼‍♀️

Book: “if they were questioned they wouldn’t have to lie”
Me: yes, ok I got that but I guess you wanted to spell it out.
Book: “they’d be able to honestly say they didn’t know what I’d been up to.
Me: OH MY GOD WE GOT IT

Ughhhhh… I’m gonna finish it because it is entertaining enough to have me curious (dragons) BUT I have thoughts
- there’s no true longing or romance… it’s just inconvenient horniness
- the foreshadowing, themes and symbolism are as subtle as an infomercial. Subtext? What subtext?
- it’s nice to have and audiobooks that only really requires about half my attention

The name Jason feels so wrong in a fantasy book… hate that

Omg this is so silly. Hogwarts + twilight fanfic basically. Phrases like “hot af” “creepy af” and “hella awkward” are killing me but i knew what i was getting into when i started and it’s free on Audible so im listening.
The main character has mentioned harry styles and other 1D members no less than 4 times already. The fmc is also constantly getting chills and “not from the Alaska cold”

I preordered the sprayed edge special ed
This book is so good I just want to discuss it with someone

I cannot get past the MMC saying he was catching a connection from Atlanta to Columbus,GA…. It’s like an hour and a half drive and virtually no one would fly.

I currently live in Atlanta and I’m from Columbus. The flights are so few and far between by the time someone would walk to the gate, board, fly and land they would have already arrived by car. This is such a small detail but I’m so annoyed.

I think I love this book
