Me: ok understood. Plausible deniability.
Book: “if they were questioned they wouldn’t have to lie”
Me: yes, ok I got that but I guess you wanted to spell it out.
Book: “they’d be able to honestly say they didn’t know what I’d been up to.
Me: OH MY GOD WE GOT IT

Ughhhhh… I’m gonna finish it because it is entertaining enough to have me curious (dragons) BUT I have thoughts
- there’s no true longing or romance… it’s just inconvenient horniness
- the foreshadowing, themes and symbolism are as subtle as an infomercial. Subtext? What subtext?
- it’s nice to have and audiobooks that only really requires about half my attention
