😱😱 I started reading this solely because it was on sale on audible. I knew nothing about it and didn't even read the synopsis. Imagine my shock when I find out it takes place in central Florida! Theres even a scene at the Ocean Deck, Embry Riddle, and the Speedway! Freaking awesome lol.

“Because if he did, I’m enlisting his assistance in the Navy.”
I scoffed. “You can’t do that.”
“Oh, really? Because my ex is in the middle of the Pacific right now.”

“It was that moment in the Keira Knightley version of Pride & Prejudice where she rolls up to Mr. Darcy’s estate and it’s this enormous mansion and she’s like, OH, FOR FUCK’S SAKE.”

I just finished chapter 15 and she’s used the word “eyes” 30 times.

Man, if I wasn’t so far into this book, I’d DNF it. I’ve been told to “just wait”, but it’s giving -dumb blonde in a horror movie- vibes. I keep screaming at the book “YOU CAN’T BE THAT STUPID”.
