And now we have a conversation happening that’s already happened earlier, almost verbatim...

What fresh hell is this?! Now, amongst the random commas and full stops, there’s half a sentence in italics for no good reason!

Wonder if the previous books have worse grammatical errors. Sentences make no sense because a comma should have been used instead of a full stop; “their” is used when it should be “they’re”; its/it’s are interchangeable; “effect” instead of “affect”.

Dictators and those with the weapons are quite happy to stop their demands for the book to have a long chat... it’s ridiculous!

Dreadful.

Makes no sense setting a book in an equivalent of Ancient Rome and then make reference to someone "sweating bullets"! Bullets? Really??

Moved to the Did Not Finish shelf and deleted from the kindle. Luckily, it was a freebie!

Getting rather irritated by the frequent use of the word 'fairies' to describe the Sithi and Norns. It was barely used in the original trilogy, now it's every other page! It doesn't follow the feel of the original books.

I feel like I'm reading and reading and never getting near the end...
