can you tell by the way i keep picking up other books that i am not enjoying the other books i am reading

there is absolutely no reason that this book has taken me over two years to read. i just keep abandoning it and coming back (i literally had not met my husband when i started this book. why) giving myself the rest of the week to finish it once and for all

tbh i almost abandoned this, but i’m so glad i didn’t. they literally started bringing up “the imitation of Christ” and cardinal newman !!!

read the intro and already felt called out

giving myself until the beginning of next semester to finish this. has been so good but if i’m being honest, i will skip several pages or a chapter if victor starts blabbing about french history

This book is like ACTIVELY changing my life. I pretty much knew when I was about three pages in that this was going to be the best book I've ever read, and it's still true. This book is answering every question I never knew I had about attaining holiness, and every time I open the book, it speaks to me in such providential ways!!
