wait a second... this book is about s*xual abuse in the family and how it rips lives apart and haunts people into adulthood even if you weren't abused and it was actually your sibling.... urm.... this low-key striking a chord with me like... idk. at least she had certainty that this event happened. idk I just have my hunches and family secrets. but secrets are secrets all the same I'm sure she wishes she didn't know

i have been reading this entirely too long bc it is just not gripping my shit at all. at this point i’m forcing myself to finish but every time i read it, it feels like a chore. not sure if the experiences being described are too niche or if they’re describing experiences at all or if i don’t like the narrator. it’s more like the narrator is making observations and complaining about themself for getting old

some of this stuff a little predictable but we ball i’m inhaling it

wait... this is such an interesting concept and the narrator's way of conveying information is so gripping to me. I love when the narrative is given like a friend giving the tea. and I love how the narrator starts out as a kinda woe is me ass bitch that I almost felt sorry for and now she's just turning into a full blown cunt. this story could go in any direction at this point
