Reading it around the time of Kali Puja/Diwali :)
Feels good.

This affected me lots. I usually keep myself a little aloof from the book, helps me not to tear up or feel too emotional when reading a book. But this one, it shifted a little somthing in me.

Takes a while to get in to the book and understand. A mix of styles - prose and poetry, lyrical economy with some very short, staccato lines and some really long passages where lines are separated by slashes and commas. At places, it's incomprehensible too, disjoint but the emotions lying beneath hit hard. As a mother of a teenage son, this one hits really hard

How well crafted, this one is !! Every sentence has some action or emotion, beautiful and descriptive, yet everything so crisp, not a word out of place.
