Love how facts beautifully blend with fiction, the description of flora - snowgum trees, of fauna - of royal penguins, seals, of giant petrel birds and a wierd fact about them, even about how lighthouses used to operate in the 18th century (Argand lamp) ; so much to gain as you read.
And everytime I decide to pause my reading, there's an element of suspense that pushes me to.keep reading. Good so far!
