Cute wholesome story. Great sequel, which is great as a standalone as well.

Already reserved book 2 and three in the series! There were parts of this book where I just had to stop and take everything I was feeling. I feel like if you like the red rising series, you will enjoy this, even though it’s so different.

I like how this series is very consistent in its messaging. I hope to see a new generation get hooked on these books. They definitely make you think.

I’m not Christian nor am I religious, however, I did find the story of Jesus’s fictional wife very intriguing. I’m an overall fan of retelling stories from a different or minir characters point of view.

This book resonated with me as a Steward of a LittleFreeLibrary I love providing individuals with books to read and share. A look into the past of how women were treated, and the importance of having friends to lift you up. I really enjoyed this book.

This gave me slight Charlotte McConaghy vibes with it being centred around Sharks. Also slight TJR vibes with the interesting female lead.

I have to say this was a very enjoyable reading experience for me. Definitely recommend it.

I received my first Karin Slaughter book as a birthday present…. And after that, I will always pick up a book if it’s written by her. The stories are always heartbreaking yet so interesting. This one lived up to the hype.

Finally got around to reading the 2nd book in this series! I did read the first book again… and cannot wait to read the next.

Enemies to lovers at its best. I enjoyed that both characters looked out for each other, and were good to each other. It wasn’t about one person rescuing another, they both helped each other realize their own value.

After reading Remarkably Bright Creatures I had to read more books featuring octopuses. I’m so glad I did as this was such a sweet and endearing coming to age book. I wanted to take all of the children and hold them in a big long hug.

I know people who have lost partners and could not imagine the grief they go through, or the strength required to move on. I believe this book paints a picture of how you grow and who you are with each person that you love. It deals with the conflict of choosing between 2 great loves in a way!that leaves you rooting for all 3 individuals involved.

Thrillers are always difficult for me to review. I thought I figured this book out from early on .,. Though there were enough red herrings to lead me astray.

The book totally gave me Emily Henry vibes … which means I really enjoyed it. I laughed out loud at the little quirky comments during the witty conversations throughout the book. This book made me smile.

If you liked Lightlark and Hunger Games, then you’ll love this. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

So cute and cosy. This totally gave off Legends and Lattes vibes. Magical, small community and found family…. Such a lovely read.

This book had a lot going on. It definitely took me a while to get into. If you are into fantasies, it has dragons, love, deceit, and magic - all the ingredients needed. I did like it, though at times I was a bit lost.

So happy that I found this series. So touching and unique. This was a great prequel, and I definitely recommend reading both books.

Multiple POV done right! Another great book about women who and their discovering and owning their strength. Plus the cover is gorgeous.

As thrillers goes, this hit some mark. You may think you have everything figured out, though there’s always a surprise up ahead.

All three books in the series have been so different. I really enjoyed all three bucks. Look forward to reading more books by Holly Jackson.

Adorable Meet-Cute in 60 pages. Love the message that you don’t know what a huge impact small acts of kindness will make. There is a sad intertwined story, but so many moments of kindness and love that it balances out.

Great twist and resolution. Not completely far-fetched like so many thrillers out there.

The main character reminded me of the main character in Paper Palace. The whole book felt like it had the same vibe. It was a story of mothers and daughters, and getting to know who mom was before she was mom.

A lovely, feel good book.

Follow the journey of a woman trying to find way. Felt believable, and the characters are very likeable.

Amazing book! Lots of scientific references were over my head, though I enjoyed thoroughly.
