It's the audacity of this man to continuously state that he wanted a strong independent woman, and not a weak docile one, but when he finally got her he kept treating her as if she was weak and docile? Very annoying.

I've been irritated during some parts throughout this book because of how much of a pushover she is sometimes and how she lets certain things slide, but I realized that I do the exact same thing. And I would do the exact same thing in her situation so now I can't be irritated😭
