Chapter 5 I am still in the beginning & I am honestly teary eyed & heartbroken about the way Cador emotionally abuses poor Gem he is so cruel I don’t think he will ever redeem himself in my eyes. I’m surprised at the gushing reviews but I will force myself to keep reading I hope poor Gem gets treated better.

Ugh ok I’m challenging myself to finish but I really hate Lucian. He grates on my nerves, so whiney and just ugh!!. Doesn’t help that narrator gave him the most scaredy whiny annoying voice. I just dislike him so much so so much.

Ugh! I really dislike Nate, he’s so pathetic and just ugh annoying. I don’t know why I coildn’t love this book. I just reeeaaally dislike Nate he ruined the book for me.

Hmmm, now that I’m re-reading in this case listening to the audio I don’t like this book as much as I did the first time. I find myself just wanting this book to be over. I can’t connect to Nate or Alex and honestly Nate gets on my nerves quite a bit. I love Lane Hayes and I hate that This book is not doing it for me and honestly the whole series.

Ok I’m pretty annoyed at the narration, the narrator completely changed Luke & Michael’s voice completely! I guess it took a second listen to the audiobook to notice or remember. Hmmm I wish they would’ve used a better narrator. I’ve heard this narrator previous works & they were pretty good but for these series is a total miss with him.

Le sigh! I really am trying to like this one but I just can’t get into it. I’m very dissapointed of how much I don’t like this book, is not terrible by any means but is more of an I can’t get into this story. I really don’t like Tim he’s such a d**k I just can’t connect with him & I don’t feel a connection between the main characters. I’m challenging myself to finish this.

ok so I love this book but I'm very upset the next one will apparently not come out it's been 2 years!! which sucks as this book ends in a cliffhanger.

This book s all smut with a wesk plot everything is center on the smut and nothing is really resolved or remotely realistic. As much as i appreciate smutty times this was just too much i glot bored.
