Give this book to those screaming “reading isn’t political”. But I’m absolutely loving this it’s essentially a mix of commentary of the engineer to the industrial military complex pipeline in the US mixed with unethical working conditions for Li mining etc. the commentary is just so well done mixed with the feminist themes

The difference between this and other training academy books (ie fourth wing) is this book tells us how the character is growing whereas fourth wing shows us. I prefer the latter.

Okay I got over the modern fantasy thing and I’m entertained enough to keep going. It’s an easy read and you don’t have to think much but there is also enough going on to be intrigued. It’s a nice filler book after TOG and Shepard King

I kind of can’t with urban fantasizes like why are you in a cubicle but also being sold off to be married but I’m going to try to make it at least 1/4 of the way before deciding to dnf
