The difference between this and other training academy books (ie fourth wing) is this book tells us how the character is growing whereas fourth wing shows us. I prefer the latter.

I have not been able to find a book that I enjoy the academy setting of as much as fourth wing I've tried others and as much as I loved this series it isn't the same for sure! There really isn't that much of the actual training component in this one

Yeah i actually decided i liked this one and was wrong to compare it to fourth wing lol. It has weaknesses in some areas but enough strengths to make up for it for sure
