Time jumps really do confuse me

Not worth it. Best part is Malina’s character arc. Feels like the last three books have been filler. The final battle/battles? have been short.

Actually, really fun. Kinda satire of the hallmark Christmas. But also still hallmark Christmas. (I know it’s late that I’m reading this…)

As an audiobook, the narrators seem to be purposely mispronouncing everyday words

Wasn’t sure at first, but I think I like the way it starts ahead in time leaving me hanging on how we got there and then goes back to explain.

Warning: heartbreaking animal deaths. I mean it’s the dust bowl so I should be aware that’s gonna happen but gosh dang it they’re the worst

In the first bit, I was struggling to connect. It felt a little woe is me, although did hint at something serious. Now, it’s getting heavy and it’s all starting to make sense, and I find myself journeying through my own memories with her.
