Ok why they already fighting lol? The way it is written, it sounds like they just met max like two hours ago. Still an interesting story, but the timing doesn’t feel natural.

Interesting story so far. There’s a bit of disconnect between the characters having just met and Kei already lowkey falling in love with her. Hana might not be my ideal female character lead, but this is still an interesting plot line and I can’t wait to see where it goes.

Wow. This is riveting. I bet Victor and Eli both die in the end.

I like this new rag-tag team. Marcella, June, and Jonathan. Starting to feel like the original Bictor, Syd, Mitch, Dol, Dom team.

Glad and also disturbed that we were able to learn more about Eli’s past. It makes me empathize with him more. Hated him first book, still do, but I understand him better now. He suffered a lot, no wonder he’s psychotic. This definitely helps develop the overall “everyone is good and evil” message.

First 5 star all year.

Very gripping. More of adrenaline rush fever dream (ironically) than a full laid-out plot.

Dang Nora was so rude to Clint. Like I get what she said is valid but that was kinda rude to say to your lover’s father, even if it’s what he needs to hear. This is the first conversation I even remember the two having, and she starts off like this rip. Honestly Nora isn’t really as likable character but maybe that’s the point…or it just either out for Emily.

FINALLY a good talk between the two. Said nicely on this page. Nora is the problem, she’s the most annoying. Libby is still annoying, especially when she says “sissy” because she’s not helping her case seeming like the weak little sister who can’t fix everything.

Libby needs to stop being spoiled and wake up to the reality that Nora is like this because she feels the need to take care of Libby. Yes, Nora needs to look inside herself and also realize she’s being unreasonable, but Libby needs to stop acting like she’s not at fault. Libby also needs to stop keeping secrets. If sisters actually care about each other, they tell each other her important things.

The main characters are actually all SO annoying. This could literally all be solved if they COMMUNICATED. Nora needs to stop acting like her grown ass sister can’t take care of herself and she also needs to stop this self pity of “I don’t have a life because all I care about it my sister” crap. Grow up, be there for your sis but have a little faith in each other.

The lack of communication is supposed to build the suspense, however, no suspense is being built. The only thing being built is my annoyance with these characters because they don’t know how to communicate. I liked it up until here and it seemed like the characters were really being developed, but this lack of communication is just very annoying.

I’m actually genuinely super annoyed right now. The characters claimed to be such best friends, but they don’t even talk to each other. they say they’re close, but Nora doesn’t even want to talk to Libby and say “ hey, I know that you and Brendan are going through things, but I’m here for you if you want to talk.” COMMUNICATION, people, that’s all it takes.

Cute book so far. Small town romance is definitely a break from difficulty real world stuff.
