As difficult as it is for me to fully grasp the new vocabulary in this book (and to be completely fair, I’ve only just started), I’m absolutely hooked and I can’t wait to see how the lives of Orka, Varg, and Elvar eventually weave together. The intrigue of politics, war, and fate only make this more exciting!!

The world building is really intriguing! (I’m obsessed with world building) and the politics aspect with Galland and Madrence is delicious, I’m eating it up right now.

Stephen King is a master at stories. It may not be the only book I’m reading right now, but it’s got me hooked.

Nice political-intrigue book for when I want something other than fantasy!
