True enough about the “psychological barrier…that cultists must be a special breed of individuals impervious to standard techniques of evangelism and generally well enough versed in the Bible to confuse, if not convince, the average Christian.”

So Jewish neighborhoods were attacked in 5 countries, survivors of a pogrom in Tripoli are herded into camps, 20% of Egyptian Jews were arrested and property confiscated, and Damascus and Baghdad Jews were expelled. But 1.2 million Palestinians were protected by Israeli martial law, except 3 Latrun Corridor villages.

From allies, the Arabs expected honesty - or support. “But the Arabs were hardly pleased that ‘all measures’ amounted to Soviet acceptance of a ceasefire they did not want and which permitted Israel to retain conquered Arab land.” At last, the Soviet sickle bled its own hand by being too clever.

The Egyptian rout was a complete mess of conflicting directions, cross-fire propaganda, and internal chaos. “Israel never would have achieved a quarter of its victory if not for the confusion and chaos.”

The Palestinian notables lived in a fantasy world, fueled by Radio Cairo’s mendacious boasts about aerial superiority. They made no preparations for war and told themselves that the planes circling overhead were Jordanian….until the Star of David flew over the Rockefeller Museum.

When you have five hours to gather scattered paratroopers and storm an ancient city. “The problem was not how to do it right, but how to avoid doing it terribly.”

Brigadier Zaki: “Israel spent years preparing for this war, whereas we prepared for parades…The drills for the annual Revolution Day parade went on for weeks…but there were no preparations for war.”

One of the most ridiculous Supreme Court decisions in the last decade: the ObamaCare 1,400-page monstrosity that was supposed to offer massive centralized savings and help people with healthcare is now a justifiable tax on people who aren’t buying health insurance.

So the U.S. Marshals and the TSA are both under the Department of Homeland Security. But we can’t have a federal police force because of the Posse Comitatus ACT - even though some of Obama’s unscripted comments at University of Colorado (July 2008) included the need for a civilian security force equal in funding and power to the military.

Nor did the 72 fusion centers fully exist. Two were counted and receiving funding but were not functioning. Where did all the data go, after it was mined?

DHS didn’t even know the amount of funds spent on fusion center ‘intelligence’. Could be $289 mil, could be $1.4 billion. Who’s counting when it’s someone else’s money and you don’t get audited?

DHS oversight of 70 fusion centers - nil. Obama renewed FISA surveillance for 5 years (w/ Bush’s warrantless wiretapping) after the Senate enacted a winter break amendment. So by 2013, NSA pulls bulk communications downloads (domestic and international) from Verizon, AT&T and Sprint, 300 million users. For….24 success stories totally unrelated to terrorism.

Fun to discover that the PATRIOT Act (touted by Ashcroft as a great achievement in fighting terror) has largely been used as a multi-billion dollar way for the U.S. Government to come up with multiple acronyms of programs designed to….spy domestically on residents and citizens of the country without warrants.

So Hamas is the Palestinian arm of the Muslim Brotherhood - its charter “calls for the murder of Jews and destruction of Israel”. And a 2006 election left Hamas as a ruling party in Palestine.

But it’s super important that they receive statehood in the interests of peace.

Mohamed Morsi, eventual Egyptian President and member of the Muslim Brotherhood, on the topic of Israel: “Dear brothers, we must not forget to nurse our children and grandchildren on hatred toward those Zionists and Jews, and all those who support them…the hatred must continue.”

So peaceful and willing to dialogue.

In December 2012, the Boston Globe added that 8,500 detainees were released into the U.S. because the home countries wouldn’t take them. And 20 countries routinely block deportation, including China.
Even more reason to either place them in a friendly South American holding tank, or tell the deportation deniers their country will be sanctioned.

So between 2009-2011, over 8,000 illegal aliens were released into the U.S., including 809 recidivists from California and Texas - Level 1 offenders guilty of kidnapping, sexual assault, robbery, aggravated assault, threats, extortion, cruelty toward family, illegal weapons possession. Because of ICE staffing issues and incompetent vetting. But the rule of law is super important.

2005: 400,000 illegal immigrants given final deportation orders by a judge - 25% were convicted criminals. But sanctuary cities prevent police from asking about their status until more crime is committed. They also constitute 25% of California’s prison population. (Want to reduce prison overcrowding?)

Since the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, a total of seven failed amnesties (I.e. widespread document fraud and increase in illegal immigrant population): 1986 (Reagan), 1994 and extended version 1997, Nicaragua, Haiti…and a few failed versions of the DREAM Act.

“The fact that the Commission chose to make no stronger recommendation (re the Patriot Act) after hundreds of hours of hearings, resulting in a massive report, at enormous cost to the American taxpayers, struck me as gutless political dodgeball rather than noble national service.” Plus they got free press interviews in a spotlight.

“Some people in our country seem more concerned about respecting the dignity and privacy of criminals and terrorists than they are about having an airport full of people obliterated, or a completely booked hotel blown to bits.” That’s why we have regular school and church shootings.
