I loved all the stories about cats around. the world and loved all the pictures. I learned about how many countries don't have official shelters, but depend on the citizens to take care of any stray, many with a trap, neuter, and release program. I found myself looking up places on the internet, so I would have included a world map highlighting the countries and cities mentioned in the book.

I don't read Biblical fiction very often, though I read other historical Christian fiction a lot. This author did a good job weaving possible characters and plot with real life people from the Old Testament. I liked how Roxannah and her mother both embraced the Jewish God into their lives. Also, the dishes she created sounded delicious and she even had some nice plating skills if that was a thing.
