In a book about hidden cameras and exploitative voyeurism against women, the MMC describes the object of his obsession: “she had done something no other woman ever had: She remembered him.” Aaand women are literally victimized just for being polite.

The Last Woman on Earth was painful to read because it didn’t seem ridiculous at all 🙃

So…. What’s the premise of the book? King Midas is a horrible man, Auren was groomed/raped as a child by him and doesn’t know better, and so far there is nothing that’s being worked toward. The only bad guy that’s been introduced is Midas and she’s not trying to escape.

The size, font size, paper, and binding of this book is extremely satisfying to hold and read.
