While this book could be really good, I'm annoyed by the characters and I'm not that pulled into the story

I wouldn't recommend this as your before bed read if you get scared easily. Being lost in the Paris catacombs isn't really the coziest thing, except if that's what you like, all cozied up with the dead..

I love this book so much already and I'm going to ruin my sleeping schedule.

Dit boek is echt geweldig, maar ook zo veel. Het is gewoon een dik boek, eigenlijk niet eens zo dik. Je hebt natuurlijk ook al het fantasy spul en drama dat je moet snappen (wat ook weer niet zo moeilijk is als je erin zit). Het komt er eigenlijk op neer dat ik nu gewoon weinig lees en dat ik een luchtig dramatisch romance boek wil

Heb deze een beetje als een side read. Het eerste hoofdstuk was wel echt précies het begin van the little mermaid met het "ik wil de wereld boven het zee-oppervlak zien, maar het is verboden. Omg een hotte zingende prins op een boot". Alleen moet zij nu die prins vermoorden met haar gezang want ze is een sirene.

I dont know, it isn't like there are some "weird" weird things happening so far, but if you keep in mind that he's supposed to be her uncle... (excuse me: "step"-uncle)

On the other hand they aren't really related because it's her step uncle, but there's still an age gap.

Oh right, this mini rant is about them sitting on a horse (together, so she's practically on his lap) and him brushing hair out of her face.

🔎 A Scandal at Undershaw
I'm not that into Sherlock Holmes, but this was a lot of fun and the scandal... Damn it was scandalous, like excuse me?? Furthermore I really liked this modern boarding school Sherlock Holmes book from John's perspective and the way Sherlock thinks, even when he isn't the main character so you don't have his full perspective, is incredible.

🐕A Sea Change
It was fun to finally see Matthews pov and I liked the story, but I was also a bit disappointed. I just think Matthew is so much more than what we saw in this story. It was nice that we got to see his happy ending and Sylvian is great, although I did feel like their story was missing something, it all went a bit too quickly.

What am I reading?

Like Ali just thought "alright so we have the main person who's into kinky stuff, then we have some hot swimmer dude who's her friends bf who's also into that stuff. Oh right, but that friend isn't into it so they break up and now the friend is drunk and decides to play matchmaker? 😂😭

De korte hoofdstukken zijn wel fijn.

I just got a whole freaking biology lesson in the beginning of chapter one, it's fun though

Misschien niet het beste idee om drie boeken over te slaan, ik zit mezelf echt heel erg te spoilers, ach ja 😅

Not really in the mood for this, i need something with more depth than "I dont want him anymore, he betrayed me" "I don't care that you say that, you're mine and your body still wants me"

I'm not much of a fan of bully romance and I very much want to strangle this guy

Ik wil echt graag verder lezen in het boek, want ik weet dat het echt geweldig zal zijn, maar het formaat van dit boek is momenteel lichtelijk demotiverend en ik ben iets meer in de mood voor wat kortere boeken

I don't know what to do with this book, its just not as fun as I thought and I'm getting slightly bored because I feel like there isn't happening a lot besides them intensely staring at each other and not talking

Ik heb het gesprek alsof deze gast zich heel stoer en cool en "ik geef alleen maar om mezelf de rest kan oprotten" probeert te gedragen als zo'n stoere maffia man, maar het lukt hem net niet helemaal...

Thomas is literally so iconic. His comments just make me laugh all the time

This book is so... Not what i expected 😅😭

I'm obsessed, this series is so good and Jennifer Lynn Barnes is absolutely one of my favourite autors!!!

Sounds really fun already, but these books are just so easy to read.

Alright so Ava got in a car accident and when she woke up it was 2 years and 3 months later (no she wasnt in a coma), and two years ago she had seemingly married Eli, not because they love eachother thats for certain. But she had fallen of the stairs and forgotten about the past two years, that car accident also hadn't happened.

I'm traumatized. I absolutely did not need this amount of details, thank you very much Nikolai (not).

I'm kind of hoping that Mia will tell Landon about her trauma and that he will help her get over it and also maybe help her get her voice back because she hasn't talked since she was eight. I'm certain she will tell him about what happened and that he'll be like "I'm going to kill that monster", that's just how it goes with these books, not sure if she'll talk again.

These parent chapters are so underrated. Like it's just so fun to read about the dads getting all protective over their daughters and wives and that they can't say no to them because they love them. And omg, the dad's group chat is so fun! All the "guys, I just lost my daughter" (as in: my daughter has a boyfriend) texts and then the comment of all the other dads got me laughing out loud

My opinion of this book quickly changed from "this is alright, but a little boring, i dont like grumphy x sunshine that much" to "oh my fucking god this is amazing and I'm addicted" when Annika said she wanted to fake date someone and Creigh kind of went into possessive jealousy mode when she didn't see him as an option 😍

Meh, love the concepts and everything but here are just way to many sex scenes, after 5 or so you've just read it all and it gets annoying. And when I finally think That is doing some cool LORD stuff you get a skip forward in time to a new sex scene which is really disappointing.
