Oh so I can’t believe I’ve waited this long to read Tozer because this book is changing my life????

THANK GOODNESS IM MAKING MY WAY INTO THE LATTER HALF OF THE SERIES. Man not gonna lie the first few books had me in a huge reading slump (honestly it had more to do with finishing count of monte cristo though) but now that things are picking up steam I’m remembering the magic I felt reading these books in middle school.

“If all the world should drink free grace, mercy and pardon from Christ, the well of salvation; if they should draw strength from one single promise, they would not be able to lower the level of the water of grace in that promise one hair's breadth. There is enough grace, mercy and pardon in one of God’s promises for sins of millions of worlds.”

THIS IS SUCH AN UNDERRATED BOOK.

“This girl is the very thing I can’t seem to escape- can’t seem to go anywhere without the remnants of her following. Where I am, she is. Whether it’s in the flesh or in the fragments of my mind…she is my inevitable.”

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

“Go ahead,” she challenges, her voice quiet. “Spill my blood and wear it with the rest.”

I CANNOT HANDLE THIS BOOK.

Basically every facet of this book came as an absolute SHOCK to me. I didn’t know this had a romance subplot at all. I didn’t know that this was classified as a thriller. But this is the most glorious combination of everything I love and every emotion I want to feel, and I LOVE IT.
