I love a good Christian fiction involving people of color. I came across this book in a Goodwill. Funny enough, this author resides in my state (NC). I'm trying to find more local authors to read.

Every now and then, I think it's good to read a book that grounds you. A book that you could relate to. It just hits differently.

I love a good poetry book in between long books.

I had to tandem read this with the audiobook. The chapters are short, but WHY is this "thriller/crime" book 420 pages. That's a crime in itself.

I don't remember Piggy being this annoying. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Back to my thriller/mystery/suspense books. I'm not sure why JP needs to co-sign on these books, but whatever.

So far, I'm interested in the book. The only hiccup is that we (the readers) already know the identity of the killer couples, so how is this going to keep me interested?

Plus, the couples they're choosing are all swingers, apparently. 🙄

I'm going to need someone to explain this book to me in "Oldspeak" because I'm about to DNF. 🤔

I had to turn on the audiobook to get me through this.

I have no idea what's going on here.

I'm just trying to make a dent in the books I added in 2024. There's...A.... LOT. 👀


Let's see if I like this one.

Reading a throwback from grade school.

I already know what's going to happen, but I just wanted to see how I feel about this book as an adult.
