I'm back with the Warrior's Riding crew!

I'm not the biggest Brandon fan. I wasn't in book 1 either. He seemed childish. -_-

That was deep 👀, but I still don't know what the hell is going on here. Simply reading for the vibes.

I'm still unsure of how I feel about this book, but I'm still reading.

Did I give this a fair chance? Probably not.

DNF on page 8. I read chapter 1, and all I could think was, "I need a damn pirate dictionary for dummies."

DREDGERS...

SKIFF...

PYRE...

I'm already hesitant to read it because it's YA, but deep down, I don't think this one is for me. I'm sure someone else would love this, though.

This is probably one of those books that would be better as just a movie.

I have no idea if this book was thrifted or $free.99, but I'm so glad I have it.

Fact: I don't really like Drew. I honestly could read this without Drew in it. Just a simple detective work instead of ... DREW -_-

It's mainly because of the 3-way living situation. Smh, I'm not even thrilled to pick up this book, which is leaning towards 2.5-2.75 ⭐️'s.

OMFGoodness! I'm not even 50 pages in, and I feel like this book is going to call out on so many things when it comes to my spiritual journey and getting closer to God.

Think... The Prophecy (1995 movie starring Christopher Walken). It's angels, demons, and a Prophecy that needs to be fulfilled by the chosen 4. 😍

👌🏾 I'm intrigued and flying through the pages, but I'm [impatiently] waiting for the BIG scenes.

Turn-off: I know "Paris" & her dead husband Jimmy have an age gap (she's mid-late 30s and he's late 60s), but the way he kept referring to her as 'kid' irked my damn nerves. -_- That's yo grown ass wife! The disrespect. Ugh!

Finally... a book that has my attention within the first 50 pgs.
