I knew Adela was from the future and the future version of the main character! Time travel is weird though. The splitting and differing of time lines..how is that possible to go between them

I really like the her not knowing/thinking Graham likes her. I know it will be a required love story, but this little bit of unrequited love is so good! I want a whole book with it

There are things I don’t really understand because of the British setting and not knowing all the history or people they refer to. Some conversations I don’t understand either

The writing style is a little different and I need to get used to. There are a lot of time jumps and telling rather than showing. Intriguing so far. I like the banter

I think I might just be jealous of the heroine. She gets to go on an adventure, go to South Africa (I miss South African man), the one man she meets for the first time and loves loves her back just as quickly and readily. I want my own adventure, with (my) man from South Africa where it is mutual love at first sight

I’m actually quite enjoying! It’s a murder mystery but also following a young heroine. Has adventure, romance, mystery! I don’t really click with the FL, she’s kind of annoying, but it’s a good story. I don’t know who did it, I can never figure Agatha Christie out. The old man is creepy for liking young girls’ legs

Easy read so far. Pretty interesting, seems like a good adventure. Sadly not fantasy

The book is a drag. Too much action but annoying action. The only reason characters still alive is because they are main characters. Too sci-fi for me

The fact that Kanthe likes Cassta is just weird because in the first book he never even glanced at women, and then he was only interested in Nyx, and now it’s like he doesn’t even remember Nyx exists. Just came out of nowhere. Also I agree with one of the reviews that the female character writing is terrible. They are all the same - oversexualized and “badass” and flirty which is annoying

The book is starting to drag. So many characters and too many words. The plot isn’t strong enough to keep me engaged. I’ve resorted to skimming

Towards the end of the first book it was starting to drag and get boring, but this new adventure is starting off strong. I hope kanthe doesn’t have to marry someone else, I think he and Nyx should be together, but we’ll see what happens
