And this book is the polar opposite. Dutchess at 15 could probably square up with any dude that got in her way

Zorah has her issues but name one teenage girl who doesn’t?

The plot is thickening and not in Zorah’s favor

I fear all Duchess knows is tragedy in her life

I miss Obama. I miss when we had a competent, non-delusional president in office. A person who speaks respectively, coherently, and is well read.

I will never forgive Trump voters. I want absolutely nothing to do with the MAGA brainwashed cult. I fear that we’ll never recover from this regime, destruction, and terror.

A lot of information was covered in the last few chapters which confirms my beliefs that Trump is a malignant narcissist infecting his MAGA notsee goons into his way of thinking. White supremacy and racial superiority baffles me bc why are people who deem themselves better than, all a shade of mayonnaise? So uncultured

Florida has dark and racist history but I just learned about the white Bob massacre of 60 Black people in Ocoee, Florida in 1920. The whites burned black homes and businesses to the ground and is just utterly devastating when you read this kind of history. History the Republicans don’t want us to know. History they long to hide. As a white person, what the hell is wrong with white people?

So much of this book relates back to the mess that is Trump. A weak and insecure man who lies, cheats, berates, bullies, yells, and shouts to get his way. Not a leader; just a bully. And anyone who supports him. I want nothing to do with. You cannot be a good person and support this administration. Full stop 🛑
