I understand why this is considered a must-read vampire/ horror book… legitimately dark and no romanticization

Finished Killer on the Road and um wow. It was thrilling & terrifying; yes, my eyes lowkey glazed over when there was a lot of trucker lingo, but for the most part I was so locked in I almost missed my stop (twice). I did hear that the Babysitter Lives wasn't as good as Killer on the Road but we'll see, I'm curious about how Jones handles the haunted house trope...

ok i promise i SKIP all the smutty scenes but the romance is like lowkey so cute, its making me blush and kick my feet. like yes a hot, super rich minotaur who tips well, is considerate, and is demure?? amazing. best bull at the milking farm for sure. also the "milk" is 24 oz. and I gasped when I realized just how much that was ;-;

I've always disliked puppets lol. But I’m safe knowing my stuffed animals would beat the fuck out of a puppet, especially Pupkin. Also Mark is so annoying idgaf if I find out he’s actually good, idc he’s irritating =_= he makes me happy I’m an only child cuz god forbid I had a brother like him

really interesting, probs one of the best/most fascinating monographs on modernism I've ever read thus far (and I've read my fair share...)

I just know that if I wasn't reading this book furiously fast, I would appreciate it so much more. Super fascinating way of analyzing architecture (specifically skyscrapers) by using literature and commentary as a source base. I am like halfway through the book and we haven't quite gotten to the "Black Skyscraper" part though (did discuss the language of miscegenation in skyscrapers)
