WE’RE SO BACK!!!! Starting 2026 off with a BANG!

This book is such a breath of fresh air! I've never read anything like it! The writing is beautiful! I wasn't sure at first, the 2nd POV was throwing me off but now that I am used to it, I am loving it.

Oh this story is going to break me. I just know it.

Sigh. I still love this story, but it's so hard to stay engaged... I don't have a burning need to read on and often put this book down. I'm hoping it will get better...

I’m having a hard time getting into this one. I think I might have to give up on reading and try the audio. The first book was beautiful and I loved it, but I know this one will be slower paced as well and I’m having a hard time getting excited to keep reading.

Meh. This “I can’t have you but I can’t live without you” nonsense is annoying. And the forced proximity is a little too late. This would have been better served BEFORE they hooked up. Now it’s annoying and both of them are bothering me.

This book is absolutely sucking me into this world. The writing is so good!

I’m at the renaissance festival and I told myself I needed to give this my full attention so I’m going to have to wait till Monday to finish. So far I’m having a good time though!

Damn. We are already off to a spicy start with a SPICY SCENE. I did just get the ick about Fishers mom making Saeris dresses centuries before she was even alive… That’s a page torn straight from SJM and I’m not pleased about it. But other than that, IM HERE FOR IT.

Hey so, I think I understand what the hype is about. I am really enjoying this book. These characters and the politics are SO complex. WAAAY different than what I am used to reading in romantasy, and it has been a BREATH OF FRESH FUCKING AIR. And I heard this book is one of the worst in the series? They get BETTER from here? I can't wait. <3

I had to pause on this one. I recently lost my dog of 14 years, mid listen to this audiobook. And I know this story is full of loss and grief, and I just can't make myself finish it right now. I will need to revisit when I am feeling like I can handle it. :(

I am so sick of romantasy! And I wasn't sure about this book, I almost DNFd after the first couple of pages because the writing was jarring... But I am really liking it now! I fear this WILL become my entire personality.

Ok so this FMC is giving Diem vibes with her PURE STUPIDITY and it’s making me mad. Idk how I feel about this book, I’m hoping for a mind blowing ending.

I had to see what the fuss was about! Not going to lie, I started skimming around the 18% mark. BUUUUT the story is starting to settle in and I am really enjoying it! The writing style is a little odd, but now that the story is moving it's not bothering me so much.

I have a feeling that this is going to wreck me. The writing is so so beautiful.

This series CONTINUES to shock the hell out of me. I UGLY cried twice already, and I still have a ways to go. These characters are SO complex. The bond between these two sisters is beautiful. I was not excited to read this book when I found out it was a prequel, BUT I'LL BE DAMNED if I don't love it more than the other two books. CHEFS KISS.

This is one of those audiobooks you don’t want to be caught listening to if you wreck your car and the paramedics have to save you. BUT ITS SO GOOD 😂

Holy shit Teddy Hamilton is… an excellent narrator. 🫣😅
