The more I read of this, the more I'm confused by the premise and direction. Like what happened in Zdarsky's run that has Batman and Selina like this and how does it relate to the nature of the Family here. I'm just so confused

Someone described this arc as following the inversion of the Trinity and it got me intrigued. Hopefully, intrigued enough to catch up on my Reading Challenge

this is giving friends-to-enemies-to-lovers and I am here for it. I literally only snagged this book up bc someone on TikTok told me it was like Heated Rivalry. Which they also said about The Fall of the Orc and we are seeing how long that is taking to finish

I can see how this is rated super low, the arc isn't the best, but I don't think that it's as bad as the ratings have made it out to be

Okay the enemies-to-lovers is a little unrealistic, but so is the premise of the book.

the FMC is also written to be a little bratty and the book's vibe isn't that, so I hope that I keep on liking this, but I am worried.

I'm listening to a podcast that is going through these comics and I wanted to pick them up again because there's something transportive with Young Justice that brings me back to my childhood.

I thought that this was going to be a cutesy little arc about Stargirl's origins and a fun tie-in story. No this shit is dealing with heavy loss and the multiverse. WTF, it's so intense, deep, and so goodddd

This is connecting perfectly with the Batgirls run that I am so obsessed with and I am eating this up.

However, this is def the context of the run by Taylor I just finished so I am a little sad to see that I didn't catch this part beforehand.

The premise of this is setting up to be a very fun story (much better than the last Quinn book I read), but there's something about the storytelling that isn't grabbing me. Like I want to read it, but there's no plot-based drive that's making me want to pick up the book. It feels like at best background movement will get me into the pieces of it

Making this a sort of coming-of-age story with it centering around Damian in high school is a fun twist on what I thought his Batman and Robin story was going to be

This book isn't bad at all, but the Kindle reading experience is a little choppy. The panelling for the reading experience is hard for Kindle to work with, so it's really jarring to try and focus on all the small things

This is establishing things that I read about in X-Men Red that now I'm getting the backstory to. So cool

Found out that the rest of this run of Tom Taylor's Nightwing was available on Comixology Unlimited and I had to the make the swap over. so excited to finish up this amazing story

This truly is Heated Rivalry but fantasy, but I want less from it. It's almost too intense and spicy that I'm like "Okay but what about the war? Can I get some background into that?"

This book is by no means bad, I fear it's just because I'm interacting with it through the audiobook, and the audiobook is kinda bad acting wise.

I'm going to switch over to reading this and hopefully knock it out as I literally am so far behind on my reading goal alreadyyyyy.
