Mean guys asked if there was a ‘Harry’ here, be said ‘yes’: bad idea. They arrived at hogwarts and took the tiny boats. Got to the doors and they stopped!

Everyone was worried except for Hermione: they thought it was a magic test but it wasn’t. Harry didn’t know any magic.

Then some ghosts came out talking to each other.

Give it a 9. It’s good I like it.

So far it’s sad but it’s inspiring. I love narrative nonfiction and I am excited to learn more about the conflict in Ireland. I don’t think being familiar with the past is a bad plan for the future

More and more and more notes came in. And so, they moved to a big rock in the middle of the sea. They moved into a tall skinny tower at the top of a mountain on the island.
Hagrid got him and took him to a road I don’t remember the name of.

It’s great it’s awesome, 8/10 so far

Emerson: so far Harry has gone to the zoo with Dudley on his birthday, the glass DISAPPEARED and the snake got out.

Everyone was scared.

Then Harry got his first letter on an early breakfast morning. And then Dudley’s father tries to take it away. He succeeds and burns it.

1-10 I’d give it a 7.

Feeling good about reading the rest.

So far so good! I’m confused about what part of what book I’m reading but it’s huge.

I think the novelty of ‘one of the first fantasy books’ is a good reason to explore the book. However, it reads like it was written a hundred and fifty years ago and I’m not sure I need to finish this to get acquainted.

Also, the title sounds like testes and there’s a lot of songs.

Definitely getting better. There are a lot of names and a lot changes and stories and years to keep straight. Because it’s not told as one story there’s definitely some jumping around. Or it feels like that.

Still good and it’s inspired some additional reading that I am looking forward to reading in the future.

I am reading this as a precursor to lonesome dove. It’s… informative but I’ve read more compelling non fiction. Definitely well researched and I would’ve watched it as a documentary so I’m reading it instead.
