My teenage son read this recently, and I had only faint memories of reading it in high school.

As a friend aptly noted, I am in a mood for classics! Sometimes it is hard to get back into classics, but lately I felt like it was where I needed to sit for a while. This is my 4th time reading Great Expectations, as it is truly my favorite. It is so fun to catch new details each time around. I adore the Simon Preeble audiobook.

I'm reading this with my teens and truly enjoying it.

I'm reading this a 2nd time around, now with my 13-year-old. Hearbreaking but so beautiful.
