I’m struggling so badly to get through this book. It’s elegantly written and charming in so many ways, but the actual story is quite boring! And frustratingly it’s really 5 stories that I imagine will come together at some point, but it is an awful lot to keep straight right now, especially when I find myself not picking the book up for long periods of time!

I'm rereading this with my 13-year-old. I adore this series, despite how heartbreaking it can be at times.
