I’m borrowing this book from Andrew in Staff Development at KPH. I got it yesterday, plan to finish it by Friday, when I return it back to him, which is in less than 2 days. So far I love it. Many quotes I want to remember (haven’t written down yet), but one from this page specifically is a general idea so far “You can’t control what other people say, think, or do. Anytime you try, you lose your power”.

Biggest thing I got from Ch 2-4 was the idea that there should be a point in time where you have “enough”. Greediness gets you nowhere 99% of the time.

I picked up this book to both ease and force myself back into reading more, as opposed to going on my phone and falling to my detrimental online shopping habit. Fitting for the concepts of this book itself. After just the intro and Ch. 1, I truly already understand just how much of money is based on psychology, emotion.

I’ve literally been trying to finish this book for probably over a year now. I always take it with me on my trips to read on the plane, and though I have read a few pages here and there, I finally want to read it through without long breaks in between. It’s a cute book so far, and I low key love the “idol falls for a regular” concept lol

I could definitely get through this manga within an hour, and so far it seems cute. I relate to the main male character (Cherry I think his name is) because he prefers not to socialize if he doesn’t have to LOL The main female character just got introduced, so we’ll see where this goes?

It’s still good, just read the part about Pawlin sewing his bird’s eyes shut to make it learn to obey. That was not fun to visualize…lol

This is the book I’m reading through my Kindle app currently. It’s really fucking good to be honest. Right now the main character is reasoning with herself that marrying her best friend instead of continuing to search for her soulmate is the better option than the latter. In theory it makes sense?

I’m about halfway through this book and enjoying it so far. Starting to get the feeling that the main character is just putting up with shit from her “savior” to get by based on things she’s saying?

7.9.23 ~ I found this app through TikTok and I really plan on using it. Today is Day 1. Happy birthday to Lyss on GoodReads, which also happens to be ARMY day. Perfect timing.
