I picked up this book to both ease and force myself back into reading more, as opposed to going on my phone and falling to my detrimental online shopping habit. Fitting for the concepts of this book itself. After just the intro and Ch. 1, I truly already understand just how much of money is based on psychology, emotion.

“ Exercise is like being rich. You think ‘I did the work and I now deserve to treat myself to a big meal.’ Wealth is turning down that treat meal and actually burning net calories. It’s hard, and requires self-control. But it creates a gap between what you could do and what you choose to do that accrue to you over time.”

Biggest thing I got from Ch 2-4 was the idea that there should be a point in time where you have “enough”. Greediness gets you nowhere 99% of the time.
