An accidental find on a Google for books and an intrigue based on the title and the cover art has not disappointed so far.

It’s early days but I’m invested in celaena and the princ.

It was not who I thought it would be at all. I love Jane Harper’s way of going back to other characters prospectives to unlock the real mystery that has baffled us all the way through her books. I don’t know what I’m going to do with my life now after the end of Aaron Faulk. The finance side of his AFPness has always intrigued me and it makes me more determined to get back to work.

Omg Jane, I’m hooked!

I have a couple of suspects in my head but I know Jane is going to have a huge twist soon.

Engaging in the first chapter.

I don’t have to rely on my thoughts because the negative narrative is a lie based on boredom to create a need for fight or fought.

I’m optimistic it will be good. She writes quite well. It is easy to read aloud to Steve and not stumble over fancy words I’d have to google for a definition anyway.

It’s interesting so far and I love how Jane has brought back finance AFP agent Faulk but I cannot settle for long enough to read much. I’m putting it in my focus to-do app now to set some time aside as a task that I can track and then tick off.
