Okay this book gets a lot of love but I have to admit not a whole lot has happened. I feel like I’ve spent half the book with these characters repeating the same old story over and over. I’m not giving up but it’s gonna need to move a little faster

absolute chaos. I read one sentence and I’m like “oh yeah this is horrible” and then I read the next and I’m hooked again. Idk I’m in it for the long haul now. I am determined to finish.

The premise…intriguing. So far I have a few issues. (Spoilers kinda??) okay so we know miss raven is plus size. The book is very clear that she is. raven falls in love with her classmate in a week, breaks up with him and now she’s skin and bones from not eating…for a week?? Yes, I read the TW but the author seems to not know or care that this is truly impossible. To enjoy this book, take your thinking caps off

The beginning of this book roped me in and I’ve been in a slump ever since. It was good until like 20%, then bad again until 40%, then good-ish?, and now at 88% I’m struggling. I’m disappointed-the mystery isn’t mysterious enough, the chapters are drawn out, the character development has fallen apart, and the smut scenes aren’t giving what I need. The premise is good but not carried out well.

I almost gave up in the first few chapters but now that I understand more…I’m sat 📖

I still don’t like any of the characters. Rowan is the exception but there’s still some major issues here. I’m holding out hope bc of all the 4 and 5 star reviews. There’s gotta be a big twist in here somewhere!

The FMC is getting on my nerves. Just because you grew up in unfortunate circumstances doesn’t mean you can’t be a “pick me”. The more I read the more pissed off I get and idk if im gonna be able to finish this one. The only think keeping me here is the murder aspect
