decided to do this one as an audiobook to accompany my packing on tuesday (speaking of, i'm updating from the airport :[ i'm a victim of the laguardia sinkhole). are these the same narrators as the individual POV books? they're mostly pretty consistent but a couple of them have VERY different character voices for certain characters. like tobias is way different in jake's narration than marco's

the fact that i am rediscovering this book that i only vaguely remember and the book itself is about polly rediscovering her vaguely-remembered (mostly forgotten) memories...guys it's actually kind of slay and genius maybe. ideal reading experience? perhaps! i dont know~! i'm along for the ride! why not!

reading this is kind of fun and nostalgic but if i remember the romance element correctly i'm gonna have to boo and hiss

1. the gazette guy is kinda reminding me of taylor from gilmore girls 😭 he's not INCREDIBLY similar but something about a guy being deunk with power simply because he's in charge of a local gazette is so taylor-from-gilmore-girls to me
2. yay for the professor being feminist but it also would have been so funny if he and mary were BOTH Mulan-ing each other and the professor were also a woman

not since gilmore girls and stars hollow has there been such an endearing ensemble cast to accompany a lovable and witty/snarky main character

i'm glad this one leaves off in a nice spot but it is so ANNOYING that there are no ebooks for this series and i dont think my local libraries have book 4 so if i want to actually finish this reread i may need to just buy book 4 >:(
