i’ve been in a bit of a reading slump since the beginning of the year and for some reason, i was drawn to this book today. i’m only 25 pages in but dare i say….reading slump over?!!!

i’m still not entirely sure what i’m reading, actually. the first 18 pages felt like poetry more than a novel. it’s normal english now, but i’m clueless as to what was going on in the first chapter

i’m only 10 pages in but all i can say is…what the hell am i reading? lol. this is gibberish. truly i feel like i’m child learning to read for the first time

i’m loving this book but i also can’t wait for it to be over. this whole thing was doomed from the start

i currently find myself unable to fully sympathise with any of the characters. i feel so sorry for what they’ve endured….this war is larger than any of them…but none of them are innocent!!!
