Dune is kind of like the Friday the 13th movies, everytime I dislike one of those movies I convince myself that I actually did like it a few days later and then would watch the next one, and dislike it too

Just about turned off the audiobook when he tried to make it a back door sequel to It 😭 We get it bro we all heard your mixtape

Up in the air if I’ll get into this one but we shall see

LOVING this one, my favorite Tarantino because of how likeable and breathable it is so it makes sense it’s the one that would best translate to a wandering novel

Reading on Libby so I’m not 100% sure how far I am, but I’m definitely digging this a lot more than shadow ticket. Maybe that wasn’t the best to start with

Great description of a dream in this but otherwise sauceless

A little confused on what this is supposed to be; Lonesome Dove was about classic Western heroes at the end of their lives, and was an exploration of purpose in old age. So why is there another book that takes place 20 years later? Is this an exploration of purpose in even older age?

A character who doesn’t even really count as a character just died and somehow it’s been the most affecting death in this book
