if i had a nickel every time i read a book this year from a queer female author about a sexualized part of women’s bodies, i’d have two nickels. this one is less entertaining and confident in its direction than tits up, and it reads more as micro histories of different subjects that happen to be about butts vs an active investigation into modern industries and attitudes about the body part in question
