also haven’t mentioned: i have the special edition of this book with red sprayed edges and ITS HUGE. literally like A4.5 size and massively wide so it’s very hard to actually read and pick up

i am crying lots and as mentioned i have read this book like a million times
my consolation is that hopefully when we get twp we also get kit/ty

i have several points to make
1. I think Cassandra Clare (as much as i love her) may have a slight obsession with writing INCEST TROPES?
2. How did i never realise how dark these were when i read them at age 12
3. No offence, but Clary seriously has no right to be disgusted by the idea of her biological brother liking her when she still wanted Jace while they thought they were siblings

again i keep forgetting the extent of the incest
WHY ARE THEY STILL NECKING IT ON WHILE THINKING THEYRE FULL SIBLINGS 😭

just remembered the incest/ not real incest in this book
i know jace and clary aren’t real siblings in the end however thinking you are biological siblings and still continuing to kiss each other is actually crazy work

i have decided to try and reread all TMI in one week just for a giggle….

i think i said this before reading mockingjay but right now does not feel the appropriate time to read the hunger games- at the same time, it feels the exact right time to be reading the hunger games

guys i bought this book on PREORDER when it came out #dedictaedphannie but somehow i have never read it?? which is crazy bcs for the last three years my anxiety has never been worse so my first thoight should have been ‘let’s pick up the book of my favourite homo who wrote this for anxiety and depression’ so i am doing it now

literally finished #3 ten mins ago but i’m about to start this and yes i have work at 6am tomorrow and yes it is 22:38pm and thats fine

maybe it’s not the best time to be reading this book considering current events but actually maybe it is the best time to read this book
the hand maids tale is next on my reading list i think

why are they always having sex. surely they are exhausted or have better things to do like plan a way to leave etc. good lord!

starting this while seething that the man in the bookshop mansplained this series to me as if i haven’t read the other books. i really stood there for ten minutes while he explained the order of each book and how he had an entire reason room. okay matey i just want to buy this and go home i don’t need a life story !!!

i’m live laugh loving it so far but i had to physically put my book down and walk away when cordelia and james finally get together. like he carries her up the stairs that’s fine but then HE SHOOTS THE FUCKING LOCK OFF OF THE DOOR I AM SICK I AM ILL I CANT READ THIS. like why would he do that his bedroom leads to her they could have just gone in there like what??? made me cringe so hard

the amount of words of fanfiction i’ve read this year would definitely surpass my reading goal
