This book is curing me of my concern that I give MMCs more leeway than FMCs, and I'm grateful for that 😂. This man (boy?) is ridiculous.

Is this fantasy? Sci fi? Post apocalyptic dystopia? Yes.

I find myself comparing the prejudice stemming from innate, late blooming magic to Alchemised and dare I say this executes on that better.

Also, definitely feel like watching The Witcher season 1 prepared me for this specific brand of nonlinear storytelling, and when I made that connection it clicked for me and made it easier to follow.
