im not really a fan of dual povs in romances cause i love the mystery of not knowing what’s going on with the male lead, but in the case of this book i’m really missing Damien’s pov here. it would provide much needed context, and improve the narrative and progress of the romance. the way it is, is annoying me a little

by the end it wasn't so bad because seeing joey suffer made me happy. yet, the "i had everything planned out" bullshit that ruby pulled was impossible to buy. meh.
