I’m not sure if there’s ever been a more hilarious FMC on this planet. Alexis literally has me laughing multiple times on every page. LYLAS

For a six book series, this is the first time in a while where I felt like it wasn’t dragging on. I’m devastated that the series is almost over. I love all of these characters so much. I have laughed constantly. I love the character arcs, their humor, and how they feel like they could be my absolute best friends. This author will forever have my loyalty in her fanbase.

Not sure if a series has ever made me laugh out loud as much as this one. Sadie is hilarious and her inner and outer dialogue reminds me of myself #Self-DeprecationHumor&Sarcasm. Love some dark humor & humor as a coping strategy. She gets me.

Also Cobra is my favorite. I love him endless and forever. Amen. 🐍💚

3rd time re-reading this series and it never disappoints

Love a morally gray FMC

Loving the aspect of her twin brother in the trials with her & their mind connection. Loving the MMC breaks the mold of previous MMC (physically because still total shadow daddy). Follows all my favorite tropes while still having a unique twist on things.

Not sure why it took me so long to read this with all my fav booktok girlies support.

Such a unique magic system. Also, this is the most trauma-informed fantasy I’ve ever experienced. Bravo to the author

Thank the goddess this is a 4 book series because I am f*cking HOOKED. The banter is some of the best I’ve ever seen. The FMC’s growth holds my heart - as well as the MMC. The character arcs and plot twists are just top notch writing. 🐉🧚🏼‍♀️✨🖤 how many of my fav tropes can this goddess of an author fit

Rebecca Yarros is a master at creating the most beloved characters. Her ability to bring their personalities to life is truly shining through in this book. Ridoc, please come to life and be my best friend.
